But compared to the high tech stuff, not so expensive I think Chris.
The high tech stuff is great, and necessary, for response, and the US has no equal for response...but defense, against this sort of terrorism, must be ground level, eye to eye, IMO.
That is, for the type of terrorism we have seen today, and what we may see in the future, no matter what safeguards are in place, someone will find a way around them...so HUMINT seems to me, is the only thing that can possibly give early warning......and without early warning......dead meat! |
