It was an unprovoked attack on innocent, unsuspecting, and totally defenseless people. It was an attack on normalcy by means of normalcy. One of the most basic features of our everyday lives was turned against us as a weapon. Not against our military, but directly against us, the citizens of this country, and the peaceful routine of our lives. There is nothing about it that was NOT cowardly. There was no bravery or valor involved of any kind.
