terrific anger out here on the Left Coast... ...fleet has left port and Coast Guard is escorting all vessels through the Golden Gate; no air traffic anywhere but, from time to time you see fighter aircraft ~ apparently on patrol; BART/MUNI and rail open but limited schedules; all highways open but, barricades and check-points around most large structures and all government buildings, civic plazas. most people watching television, at home; we still have functional bandwidth but it was touch-and-go all morning ~ only had POTS lines for awhile; cellular still overloaded and cable looks "noisy". no problems with civil order, fuel/food hoarding/price-gouging out here; indeed, people exhibiting uncommon courtesy towards one another in public ~ ...but there is terrific anger underneath ~ _
