Hi Lazarus,

I've just read the posts on the Kissy thread and RWET made since I logged off. I've PMed you my response to your PM in which you told me you were appalled by one of my posts yesterday. That post was made while it was being reported that the US was bombing Kabul. We now know that is not true. I am hoping that we can all look at each others' posts in toto during this highly emotional time and remember that all Americans are grieving.

I'm hoping that SI doesn't descend into a melee over the next few days. All of us who post regularly need the support of our cyberfriends. In all honesty, I am in shock and grieving and and not emotionally capable of being the target of a group of peoples' misdirected anger.
