Hi Ish; The problem isn't the gas stations, it's the idiots running over to the gas stations to fill up their cars. In the event of too many people filling up, the stations would just run out. At least with a price raise maybe the people who absolutely have to have gas will be the ones who buy it. I know that the shortage is artificial, but artificial or real, a shortage is a shortage.

As for myself, I'm not filling up until after things calm down. If I have to, I'll simply walk to work, it's nearby. I will not be a part of an artificial shortage at a time when this country needs patriotic behavior by its citizens. Not driving is easy (for me), so that's what I'll do.

No need to point fingers, just don't drive. The gas situation will probably be back to normal within days. If the oil situation doesn't normalize, it's probably because WW3 has started. In that case who the hell gives a f$%^ about getting that last tank of cheap gas, it doesn't matter.

Bush should ask for the population to start conserving gas. People would do it.
