I posted this query yesterday, and I'll post it again this morning:

Reports came in that a total of 8 planes were highjacked. Reports on the ground here yesterday (local radio) stated that 2 intercontinental planes from London to US were not responding to attempts to contact them.

BBC is now apparently (didn't hear it myself) reporting that there were additional planes, and they may have been intercepted.

Has anyone heard any of this, and do you have an URL for me?
