Bill,

Regarding HWP's annual report:

Do you realize how many companies are making flash-memory products?

Competition is going to be brutal this year. ISSI recently
announced that they will also be involved in flash memory.

I think flash memory will be treated like SRAM in 1995.

As for an apparent slowdown, that issue is very cloudy. I think
Intel has sent Wall street mixed signals. Investors don't really
know if there is a slowdown or not. My feeling is that any
notion of a slowdown will make it difficult for tech stocks to
move up.

I don't think supply will meet demand this year or next year for
many devices (SRAM, DRAM, flash, etc..) but you must realize that
supply/demand for up to 5 years are factored into stock prices
so any signs of long term weakness will hurt them.

There is no doubt that hi-tech companies will make tremendous
profits this year...but you must admit, PE ratios for many
companies were out of line (XLNX went as high as 64, INTC and
MSFT as high as 30, and NSCP...hahaha).
