It hurts me to hear the Financial Reporters predicting gloom and doom when the markets re-open. I feel investor confidence is greatly effected by their reporting - and this news line is going to aid in accomplishing the Terrorists goals. I have a great level of respect for the trading firms in the US and Abroad who have issued orders to their traders NOT to trade and panic the markets. There must be some way we can use the power of the internet to help stabilize the markets when they open, avoid panic selling, and NOT give the Terrorists the satisfaction of completing their mission. I believe this country and world financial community can rally around this attack, band together, and somehow use it as a catalyst come out of the world economic slump, change world sentiment, causing at least one aspect of the terrorist plot to backfire. Somehow, I want to fight!
