I am as shocked as many of you are over the attacks yesterday. I have seen concern and sadness and witnessed my co-workers crying over the callousness and viciousness with which it was carried out. I have signed up to give blood tomorrow. It was a normally scheduled blood drive, but I have been lax lately in giving. When I look into faces around me, I also see resolve that tells me that when the grieving is over, the bodies buried and the damage repaired, we will survive and even flourish in days to come.

I am short a couple of POS stocks and will not cover them. They don't deserve to be covered. I had a greedy thought to short an insurance company or two, but have come to my senses and will leave them alone.

I am only human. No wait, I am human and I may have faults, but I will survive and thrive with the rest of you. I pray that all of us remember who we are and why we are here on earth. I also believe that a sleeping giant has awaken and that the perpetrators of these crimes will be punished. Terrorism must be eliminated and those countries which can be proven to be harboring and encouraging it must be chastised. Terrorism will only go away when all the earth abhors it and stops supporting it.
