OT: Sorry, Dale. Jefferson didn't free his slaves, except for a few , some who may have been sort of blood relatives. When Jefferson died, his slaves were mostly sold down the river to pay his debts. Washington, to his credit, freed all of his. Adams and Franklin fought against slavery from the start, but they were seriously outnumbered among the founders. Some are more equal than others was not exactly an alien concept to the majority then.
