This is a demented message as you have stated so well.

Being a Muslim in the USA today is, and will continue to be a difficult proposition.

The hazard for the moment is over-reaction. Bin Laden is somehow involved, but if we see to it that he is eliminated too quickly, we will never learn the nature of his involvement.I would not want to see him harmed at the moment only to discover ten years from now that he was not the the perpetuator of this great murder in New York. Lets preserve the evidence till we figure out how it all fits together

I fully acknowledge that Ben Laden's killing would be no great loss to the Democracies of the West. But more importantly we do not want to make a martyr of him so that others will want to pick where he left off.

Its about time we started paying attention to the all the Arab countries that we are still talking with. We could very easily force them into the hostile camp by our over reaction.

Regards, Jerome
