I'm watching a stock that has gained 2 dollars per share in one week on increasing volume. It recently reported a revenue increase of 36%, while net income increased from 150,000 to 1.6 million. It had a book value of 8.00, a price to book of .96
earnings of 1.02, return on equity of 13% and a PE of 8. Could this stock be considered a possible value investment? Is there anything else to be taken into consideration when trying to find a stock of good value? I am new to this thread, and would be interested in learning more about value investing in the market environment we are now in. By the way, the stock is involved in the financial sector. Is that a good sector to be involved in right now? If anyone cares to respond, it would be appreciated.
