That is not necessarily aligning ones interest with the middle east. I think suicide bombers may likely feel they have nothing to lose. By giving them something to lose their choices become harder do they not?

If you were a boy (or girl for that matter) growing up in a refugee camp with no prospects of a life that others enjoy simply because they were born in better circumstances, why wouldn't fundamentalism be attractive to you if it provides some source of self esteem and purpose? Regardless of how odious that purpose may be to thoughtful people.

How else but say education and opportunity might we hope to eradicate the motivation of those that become fanatical but than to erode these root causes that may lead them to these callous and reprehensible acts?
