My concern is how did a flight crew surrender a plane to assailants with knives? The door to the cabin should have been locked and opened for no reason. Will this change FAA rules regarding this? Shouldn't the pilots be armed and locked in their cabin before any passengers are let on board? On one plane the flight attendants were stabbed and killed. The captain came out of the cockpit in response. And my other concern is, where were the MEN? A group of men can subdue someone with a knife. Yes, someone will get stabbed and possibly killed, but a knife can only be used on one person at a time. We live in a society where men have been castrated and don't act as the protectors any more. Actually, on another plane, the passengers were told that the hijackers had a bomb. I suspect most people thought it was a hijacking and not a suicide mission. ted
