Although I have travelled within the states a number of times, including connecting flights and so forth, I was wondering if you Americans could refresh my memory... When you arrive at Logan from, say, Portland, do you have to clear any security if you do not leave the sterile area? In other words, is the any security between arrival areas and departure areaa. I ask because it would appear that at least 2 of the hijackers arrived from Portland. It seems unfair to finger Logan if all they did was go from an arrival gate to a departure gate.
