I would be surprised to find they did not come through Canada. A few of them may have been living in the states or Canada for years as well.

CSIS has documented cases of groups using (renting?) a religous building and holding rallies to collect money that was for the purpose of promoting terrorizm. Check the history behind the air india bombing and you will get a pretty good idea of what goes on in this fine country.

Bellingham has a couple of radio stations that promote terrorizm in one guise or another... the funding comes from a Canadian source. One of the Indo Canadian papers has spent years pointing out the accounting practices of some groups and trying to put a stop to the publishing of hate backed propaganda. The publisher of this paper was murdered.

If you dig back into Hansard you will find that the government has looked at people belonging to groups that support terrorist activities. The Canadian constitution seems to protect the rights of such people to join and support who they please. The biggest problem is where to draw the line.
