>>>Jerome-- I'm missing your point on what we should do.<<<

My point is that we should let the investigation of this tragedy work its way to some solid conclusions. I believe there will be a lot of culprits who will feel the sting of American vengeance.

For Israel:... The intelligensia in Isreal will have to determine a couse of action that will result in peaceful long term relationship with the Palestinians. The difficulty is making the rest of the country follow that advice.

When I look at a map of Isreal, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt, I see a regional economic powerhouse that has the three ingredients necessary to change the look of the middle east.1) A well educated group of citizens...2) A work force of citizens looking for stability and a better life (mostly Palestinians) 3) Tons of money waiting to invest in a stable middle east (This money is American, Arab, and Jewish ).

Economic ressurgence of the Middle East, would give American Firms an alternative to shipping work to Far East. The Middle East would be know as the ecnomic gateway to Africa.

Regards, Jerome

I think civility on this thread is a result of of us having sent many PM's amongst ourselves., in an attempt to find some common ground.
