Yes...with the exception that we were in a declared war with Japan, and neither the Taliban nor Afghanistan has declared war on us here. Purely a chicken-$hit massacre of civillians. Perhaps a better analogy would by the massacre of civillians in Srebrnicza (Bosnia) a few years back, only about 10X larger.
