Boy, that makes me queasy. I think in many ways post Armistice Europe created Hitler with misguided foreign policies and the financial failure of the Weimar Republic. We are going down a similar path now in the Mid-East. It is all too easy for an impoverished wretched people to reach out for a villain to have hope.
