I'm less and less impressed with Colin Powell each time I see him. At least someone told him today that the administration is regarding this as an act of war, not a crime, so he stopped talking about bringing the perpetrators to justice.

I noted with some relish that a reporter asked him pointedly if he was going to tell the US to react with "restraint" to this terrorist act so as not to "escalate" or "increase the cycle of violence", as he has been telling Israel. He didn't get out of that one very well imo.
