Zeev,

Thanks again for your insight.

I especially liked your point that since Arakis is getting the first $100M once the oil starts flowing, it makes it very easy, economical, and prudent for them to borrow the roughly $100M they have left to ante into this project. In the press release announcing this arrangement, Arakis seemed a little smug and pleased with themselves, and I could obviously see that it was a good thing, but didn't see why they seemed to think it was a GREAT thing. Now I do, thanks to Vince's concern and your response. This essentially gives them a FREE RIDE until the black gold flows big time! Once again, it looks like Arakis is moving forward in a very calculated and intelligent way.

Sorry to hear about your bout with racism. Racism is mankind at it's worst and unfortunately your people have been the recipient of a vastly disproportionate amount of this bile over history. I don't care about the color of Kahn's skin, or his nationality, or that of any poster on this thread for that matter. I care about where Kahn's heart is (honesty, integrity, etc.) and where his head is (intelligence, ability, etc.). Taking these in the other order, I care about what he CAN and WILL do for this company and for shareholder value. In my book he is still innocent until proven guilty, and as you have repeatedly pointed out, accusations without substantiation are a far cry from guilty beyond reasonable doubt. We obviously know very little about what goes on behind closed doors in Arakis or any other company, including the one we work for. That is why we need TA! (Hope Mark is having a nice vacation. I miss him.)

Concerning the possibility of a negative Barron's article this week, I am not at all surprised. A "very reliable source" on this very thread, just a few months ago, stated that something very bad was about to be brought to light <vbg> !

Long on AKSEF, a little underwater, but sleeping soundly !!! : ' )

Happy
