First, if it were a question of fighting Hitler, I would have agreed with Churchill and fought with Stalin. Second, there are not a "bunch of Stalinists" here or in the Congress. Third, except for a fringe, Americans are united by allegiance to due process, civil liberties, and representative democracy, and protecting our fundamental institutions is the most important thing, when under this kind of attack.......
