Personally, I would not call it a "cultic madness". We might disagree on that. Islam is a very old and very recognized religion. It is not unusual for a religion to have a mystical or spiritual place that will receive the believer after his earthly work is done. What is sometimes not recognized is that there are different kinds of earthly work, and some of them may not result in the Bonus Round for the Big Prize. Too bad Emile Vidrine isn't here, he could call me an evil Jew again.
