How can two terrorists with just knives in their hands be able to force the pilot and his crew to give up control of the plane? If you look at past rosters, these routes were/are normally full. Speculation is that the terrorist organizations bought up rows of tickets in order to assure minimum or no resistance. His permissive inaction lead to the death of everyone aboard including that pilot and thousands of people in the building the plane hit. Not a good legacy to leave his children.
