Yes there're are mutual funds that short indices.

Since the tragic events that have transpired, i Plan to cover my short positions early on when the market opens and wait until the market absorb the tragic events that have transpired. But it doesn't change my long term strategy from spx 1165, we are in strong long term down trend.
