I hate it. I hate true believers here or there. Of course I don't want to blow up or injure the people I hate, and I'm not enough of a true believer to hate people in a really thorough way- enough to forget they are human.. It's a very primal thing the urge to hate, and call names- as we see so often on SI. If we can't stop it here on SI, and we really can't, I don't see how we can possibly expect to stop it in the Middle East. I suppose we could hope to stop the violence- but I don't know how. I really don't.
