<Shorting to turn a profit in these circumstances border on the heinous.>

< Perhaps boxing to protect a vulnerable long position would be sensible in lieu of outright selling>

now mike..would you be so kind to tell me how one boxes a position without shorting?

i hear a lot of talk from longs saying how shorts are a bunch of greedy fu&k's trying to profit from a tragic event

could it not be said the same for longs pleading for shorts to cover so they may profit?

fwiw i have no intention of taking new short positions..or adding to any new long positions for that matter.

if you want to eliminate greed..keep the markets closed.
