The problem here is we possibly couldn't execute on such a plan for many of the impoverished nations that seem to breed these terrorists. They are typically too uneducated and unskilled to be able to compete economically in the modern world.

Milan, you begin at the basics. In 1947.Israel was a small backward country. Germany and Japan were stripped of nearly everything in 1945. In 1990 Poland was teetering on the brink. Saudi Arabia was a desert wasteland 30 years ago.

You just go back to the beginning and start building on the basics. They are bright....they have been successful traders for thousands of years. They have squeezed so much out of a nothing land. They just need hope. There was a woman on CNBC about an hour ago...an expert on Arabic culture who interviewed many Arabs in her research. The reporter asked they were so suicidal...why they acted so crazy. The expert said that the main thing she encountered, especially with the guys in their early twenties, is utter despair. There was no hope for a good future...no jobs, no chance for a job, nada. Killing themselves for a cause at least appeared to be a noble ending.

That coincides with the article I read a couple of weeks ago. We need to counter the despair. We need to counter the despair so that they have hope and then, the terrorism will die of its own volition.
