Islam, may mean peace, but it is obviously in the eye or mind of the beholder. But to the ignorant person that I am common sense and the evidence seems quite the contrary. Since you are sensitive to the middle east, I shall start in the Far East, the Philippines with Moslem's kidnaping and killing innocent civilians; now on to Indonesia and the killing of non Islamics; what about east Timor and the rampage and killing for years of their non-Islamics neighbors. Now to the middle east, what Islamic country is peaceful, Pakistan?, Afghanistan?, Iran?, Iraq?, Syria? Lybia? You tell me for I am ignorant and always willing to learn.
So you see to me Cosmo, ignorant though I am, it is hard to understand how Islam preaches peace, when they practice terrorism all over the world.
In my humble opinion Islamics all over the world are accountable for the Attack on the U.S., for if they had not condoned it, it would not have happened.
Please don't tell me that there are many solidly loyal U.S. citizens that are Islamic be cause I know that there are. But when Allah calls they will do as they are told and not question their reward in Paradise.
My remarks may be inflammatory, but as a practical matter they seem factual. Please enlighten me so that I may be educated. I am not a regligion man of any sort so all information is welcome.
