Well you are right about this instance. But it's kind of like saying I don't need a shortstop because the ball was hit into the outfield. I have no doubt that we are not far from having Iraq, Iran and other very hostile nations having the means to launch ballistic missiles that could reach America, or at least, the West. Don't forget that we have systematically weakened the CIA's human assets on the theory that sattelites could do the job. Fact is a multifaceted defense, that takes into consideration all of the possibilities should be our goal. Look at today. There were forwarnings but they were looking for bombs in luggage, not using a plane as a missle of destruction. We are stupid if we don't defend ourselves in any way possible. Little joe
