What a president! Now to claim that Air Force 1 was a target while sitting on a tarmac in Sarasota Florida, thereby justifying him taking off in the plane, landing in Lousiana, getting back on "the plane" flying to Nebraska and FINALLY flying back to be with his Boss Dick Cheney. If Air Force 1 was a target, would it be logical for him to maybe take a Greyhound bus..but at least get back to the capital and act like a leader. Now as for Cheney and this issue of terrorist taking over our planes.....just what is his record on this issue?

"In May 1988, for instance, Cheney was one of only four members of the House to be on the losing end of a 413-4 House vote that banned the sale, manufacture or importation of plastic weapons that are undetectable by airport screening machines. The bill's supporters argued that, in law enforcement's efforts to combat terrorism, it was not an undue burden on gun owners to require that their weapons contain at least 3.7 ounces of electromagnetically detectable metal, the minimum amount that can be detected by airport security devices. Cheney disagreed."

A man who now tries to defend his actions and a man who doesn't think it important to protect airline passengers. President and Vice-President. And one must wonder why we had the awful events of Tuesday.
