Jozef, reAnyway, at one level, the naivity of the plan is beautiful, and is a good example of a certain way of thinking, which is you just need to mean well and throw a billion or trilion at the problem you feel great that you have done your duty, regardless of how disastrous the practical effect of the plan would be. It also gives people with naive plans such as the one you presented a high ground to call the realists cowards, hate-mongers or scrooges.:" Well you come up with a lot of words. Lets look at the facts. History teaches us that a positive constructive approach CAN work. Examples would be germany and japan. Both a set of people that did unspeakable acts compared to recent bombings. A counter example is a long list of miserable human history where u kill the men women and children or as many as u can. The children grow up hating you and the cycle of violence goes on for centuries. The US can do a lot together with europe and rich muslim countries to help resolve the problems. And this is not a naive view, it is based on history and recent history at that. regards, Kash
