i must say, i always thought that the biggest attack upon our people and country would come via the internet. we have become so dependent upon computers for everything from power grids to banking to defense to traffic signals to commerce and on and on, that i just naturally figured that massive hacker attacks and virus unleashings would be the way these terrorists would attack.

maybe that will visit itself upon us as well.

i can not believe that the assault stopped when it did. there was and is so much more vulnerability. water supplies and gas refineries and highway systems. well-placed bombs, coupled with citywide or even regional health scares would place such a strain on our nation's psyche.

i really do not know why they stopped where they did, if they did.
