Kash, How about malaysia? I was going to use Malaysia as a third example, but I came across this site: islamicweb.com which says that Malaysia is only 52% muslim. Indonesia, for example is 95% muslim. My guess would have been that it is the opposit (Malaysia 95%, Indonesia 52%) Do you have any examples to counter my statement below: that is an example of a country that has a majority black/african influence, that was able to develop a self sustainable economy? I don't. But there is no history of prosperity in black/african countries, whereas there is history of prosperity in mideast countries (prior to discovery of oil). Joe
