This is a time of recognition of the dangers facing America today. The terrorist danger is very difficult, because Americans are incapable of fighting the strung-out secret war required to defend ourselves from madmen who fly planes into buildings. The greatest danger to us in the long-run, however, is an internal left wing enemy who hates our nation and its ideals every bit as much as those insane terrorists. Your description of impeachment is the revisionist drivel right out of the left wing media's copy rooms, and doesn't impress me any more today than it did then. Those pro-Clinton Senators broke their oaths of office, and that's the simple truth.

The American left must be defeated completely BEFORE any realistic long-term measures can be taken against terrorists. They are not a "loyal opposition" that can be "united with" for ANY crisis. They are an obstacle, pure and simple, and, if we are going to war, we cannot afford the luxury of that huge obstacle any longer. I have no doubt their permanent political demise is in our future at some time. But if you are now talking war, the ability to wait patiently for it automatically goes away. If the recent tragedy is a legitimate reason for war (and I am not necessarily at that point myself), then this country has to get its shit together FAST. And it won't happen with Daschlegephardt sharing power. That's a reality that the pro-war opinion here MUST deal with...
