Steve, I'm so happy that finally someone put on his head

I can understand the anger born out off helplessness.
I can understand the need for vengeance due this anger.
I can understand the hate against such fanatic killers.

But I badly missed a bit of consideration about "why at all", "why just now", "why here and not elsewhere".

More provocative: why not earlier during Clinton? Or, in a more adequate fanatic-religious manner: "Wer Wind sät wird Sturm ernten", sprach der Herr.

The realisation that nobody can make sure that terrorists cause such tragedies should lead stratetic considerations - not ape-like blind hate - the same kind of desperated hate which motivated those terrorists.

Helpers are due to the same punishment like the terrorists? OK: nuke Germany and nuke US, if this time the information from FBI/CIA should contain rests of truth.

I see, Steve, you're thinking behind the borders of us stone age beeings, and it feels very well to me, to hear a voice of noon and logic.

I don't agree overall, but this is not important at this time. Just one item: even in Baghdad live innocent, peaceful and harmless people - it's similar to Washington.

For me most important is the question: Who cares about the families of the victims? Do they get psychological and financial (!!!) support while quite unlimited amounts of money and efforts are available for another meaningless war? Their fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters had to die due to in Washington well known and expected terroristic actions which were silently accepted as possible riscs of an extremely aggressive politic. IMO this nation owe the victims every kind of help and support.

Everybody who lives in US could stay today where they stay. And this eventually was not a natural, n'est-ce pas?

My condolences to the victims.

BTW: We've got open panic in Europe. There is absolutely no trust in NATO in the wide public. I read some discussions yesterday, the people truly are thinking that this is the beginning of the end. I can understand that - there was not a single intelligent comment from any important person.
