That's because this country is fragile. Life is fragile. And there are a lot of people that didn't appreciate that until last Tuesday. It's hard to find a person on the eastern seaboard that didn't have a very close connection to someone in the World Trade Center that didn't make it out or someone on one of those airplanes. At least up here, I think a lot of the total shutdown was because a lot of people truly didn't want to work for a couple of days. It's human nature to mourn. Give 'em time. If people are still walking around in a daze next week, then I'll join you in telling them to pull up their boot straps and get on with life. But I'll wait a little longer.
