--How come the Taleban targeted the US instead of European/Russian cities although the main backer of their arch-enemy, namely Ahmad Shah Masood, is the European Union (and Russia)?!--

that's kind of what i was wondering too. i mean, why weren't there more attacks - like an all-out war?

as huge as these were, they were isolated and seemingly bound only to bring complete pain to the alleged perpetrators.

i mean, why not set off a bunch of viruses in cities all over the u.s., and launch a complete attack on israel at the same time?

what were they trying to accomplish?

i tell you what - it still has me wondering, how - hours before the attack - a post or two appeared on this thread which mentioned not only the wtc, but the re-building of the temple of solomon.

something HUGE has been set into motion but i can't fathom what it might really be...

the newsgroup, alt.conspiracy has gone hog-wild with all sorts of theories about this. one posting even claimed that the so-called 'japanese red army' terrorist group had claimed responsibility.

now i know you poo-pooed the chamish article, but let me re-post just a snippet from it:

--An honest American investigation will uncover tracks in Gaza, Khartoum, Damascus and Baghdad, all leading to allies, sponsors and financiers in Europe, especially southern Europe. This same investigation will discover that all of Islam is demonic**, not just the fundamentalists. It will expose the true war-making intent of the Oslo "peace" process and it will find Arafat's fingerprints all over the rubble of the World Trade Center...

Unless, America and its Council On Foreign Relations hidden rulers* once again choose to protect Arafat and his phoney Palestinian "people."

Which is almost certainly going to happen, because the hidden rulers are rejoicing. Their New World Order has arrived and from now on, the people of the planet are going to be sacrificing their civil and human rights, and accept a lot more surveillance and invasions of their privacy, because they are convinced there is no other choice.

And that was the demonic plan all along. ___
--

do you really disagree with that?

* now, 'hidden rulers' is an interesting take on this. some people attribute it to the 'clums' (clandestine luciferian masons); others say it is the 'jews'; still others say it's the 'cfr' and/or the 'bilderbergers;' and of course the mainstream opinion is simply that it was 'bin laden.'

i don't know. what i do know is that, over the past 10-12 years, events in iraq and then kosovo were misrepresented by our own major media. heck, even the stark incident in the mid-80s was 'odd.' the 'islamic incursion' into dagestan and the moscow bombings a couple of years back were also 'strange.'

i can handle the truth. i don't think that the major media is willing to tell us the truth. they always lie about why 'we' are where 'we' are, and why 'we' are doing what 'we' are doing.

stark: 'oh somehow it's ok that you just gutted our destroyer'

iraq: 'oh we're trying to restore democracy in kuwait (guffaw)'

kosovo: 'oh we're preventing genocide (wink)' the weirdest part about kosovo is how we ended up on the islamic side there.

with all of that in mind, how is a thinking person to believe 'them' when 'they' come up with whatever explanation they're going to come up with for this latest tragedy?

how about this: does anyone here remember 'us and them' by pink floyd? it kind of postulates that 'we are them.' buddhism also seems to dispense with the 'we-they dichotomy.' it's as if, in the end, 'we' are 'them.'

**as for all of islam being demonic - i don't buy that. well, unless of course you want to throw in the catholics and the rest of the organized religions, too. i'll tell you one thing; when i started reading the koran it seemed more 'true' to me than the bible - old or new. i put it down though... it was 'boring.' plus, they don't allow music and men can't wear satin or sheers.

ok... finally, i have this riddle i've stumbled upon. it simply states, "the Tetragrammaton is not the demiurge." somehow i believe it to be absolutely true but for the life of me can't figure out what it ultimately means.

anyway, it all looks senseless to me. but certainly in the end it must all be, 'G-d's will.'

i think i'll go spin a prayer wheel.
