I want to thank all who have posted their opinions. Will try to keep this short. God, I am torn. The CHRISTIAN side of me dealing with this reality. In San Antonio my family is active in both new and used auto sales and financing. About 9-10 years ago a middle eastern man opened a large used car operation and within 5 years has acquired 6 new car dealerships in the area. He seems to be an honorable man and a hard worker and has done well. My banker has informed me he has "ABSOLUTELY UNLIMITED FUNDS"! What ever he needs is wired here from overseas. He is somewhat recluse and low profile to the public and his management team. Last month his buyers were out in force buying up a great many units and volunteered that he would be leaving the country Sept. 9th for and extended trip to 'his country' and they were instructed to 'load up on inventory'. A friend from another franchise and I discussed at the time both the unreal prices they were paying and the fact that he has made public his travel plans. Won't bore you with speculations. Just eating on several of us here. I will pray for our leaders and the decisions to come in the near-term.
