Even so, WRE also shows consistently higher FFO growth, combined with lower debt, than most REITs. One can certainly find REITs with higher yield, but it is difficult to find them with a dividend that comes almost entirely from FFO, rather from capital gains and FFO, which is characteristic of most other REITs.

I agree that one can find other REITs that yield more and/or grow faster, although not with the low debt levels of WRE. Since I look mainly for growth stocks in areas such as biotechnology and telecommunications, I use WRE as a safe haven, based on its long record of increasing dividends and extremely conservative financial position. Scrooge it is, but Scrooge isn't always that bad.
