Why the trail leads to Bin Laden. The trail is leading to Bin Laden so that retaliating against Afghanistan would be akin to beat the body of a dead cat. Look to the car bomb at the state Dept. building. The perpetrators wanted to say: "No plane agaisnt the State Dept. but we haven't forgot you Collin Powell." It is the old struggle between Saddam - Bush - Colin Powell.
