Velo, New highs coming? Think on this if you will... (Below, the word "market" refers to non-tech.) You know that it has always bothered me, and other wavers, that we have had a range now for 3 years. One can not find in the price record a market declining deeply from such a range. (Yes, the 1974 low, but that was brief and not that deep.) Anyway, the range has always lead me to believe that new highs are a possibility. In other words, that the range represents the end of the previous leg and an extended sideways correction. So, perhaps this event is the catalyst that ushers in an era of deficit spending that will drive the market to new highs.
