The NYTimes is a disgrace. They cannot be taken seriously. The NYTimes supported the Dem "reforms" that eviscerated the CIA's ability to recruit the "unsavory" types necessary to target terrorism. Funny, the Dems excel at taking illegal money from unsavory foreigners and being unsavory.
