OT - It amazes me that this country on one hand cares about the thousands of terrorist victims and yet over 400,000 people die each year from tobacco.

Comparing an act of terrorism where by as yet uncounted lives where taken against their will and in the way they perished to folks that choose to use tobacco is stupid on your part szabel. That is not to say we should not care about the latter, we should. I have lost several relatives to tobacco related illnesses and you may have as well. Equating the two is wrong.

The NIH budget this year ranges close to the the 20 billion clean up number you are throwing out. That is just one of many institutions where research on cures for disease is being conducted. The problems of finding cures for diseases are complex the $$ in any budget are finite. The US govt spends more than any other country in this type of research. If the US is such a hypocritical country then by all means you are free to depart to a place that talks less out of the both sides of their mouth and thereby make this country better for the rest us. I heard Iraq is nice this time year.

P.S. You are on ignore.
