All respondents to the survey reported by Monday night, so numbers do not reflect Tuesday's events in NYC. briefing 05 ET Traders Betting On 50 BP Ease : The steep decline in the U of Michigan consumer sentiment index has added fuel to the scenario of an aggressive Fed easing. The fed funds futures are now pricing in full expectation of a 50 basis point rate reduction by the October 2 FOMC meeting, and a surprisingly strong 30% probability of a 75 bp cut.
