JF, <What would happen if there was a "real" war, with far more destruction? If a relatively small group of determined terrorists can shut down the country, are we not vulnerable to an enemy with much more resources?> If that were the occur, most people would realize that the time for mourning would not be right now. But in these particular circumstances, we have this opportunity to mourn, and we're taking it. If anything, the sooner we can mourn, the sooner we can get back to our lives, however changed they will be. But as a nation, we need to take this time. Tenchusatsu
