We are at war now not just a short retaliation. There's a liklihood Saddam backed this. So that means we finally have to take him out this time. Which means a partial ground war. Of good vs. evil.

I could care less about stocks right now but yes defensive sectors will be safer havens. Of course. But let's not panic about any of it. Huge hightech resources must also be deployed. We will also rebuild NYC downtown and its computer-telecommunications infrastructure which means a long period of economic boom in all those sectors. But now is the time to mourn and join together not worry about the markets. Let's just do our part to make sure our society, national consciousness and financial institutions are safe from fear and predators. Have faith.
