one of the many nightmare scenarios beginning to emerge from the terrorist act is this.... i heard reports today that the FBI is not denying that F-16's shot down the pennsylvania aircraft. not denying. if i allow myself to think that brave passengers were able to overpower the hijackers, only to be blown out of the sky by friendly fire, the heaviness in my heart grows even worse. there is absolutely no blame nor accusations in what i am saying about the F-16s. just unparalleled sadness at the thought that these passengers, with my friend on board and perhaps aiding the resistance effort, might have been shot out of the sky after regaining control of the aircraft. so twisted
