Suspect everyone here already knew Osama bin Laden used to be funded by the CIA. The CIA was definitely "out of control" back then. No one has suggested otherwise. What is your solution to the problem? Wait for a suitcase Nuke to go off in Washington? Pull out of the Mideast and let them slug it out at the oilwells your gasoline comes from? Play patty-cake with them? Maybe nuke them out of existence? Ah heck, let's just leave Saddam alone. What's the worst the poor misunderstood guy could do (besides invading his neighbors and killing them, and killing populations of his own country)? That shouldn't be our concern, just as Germany's actions leading up to both WWI and WWII weren't any of Europe's concern.
