Regarding opinions, yes if you impose your opinion on another person, that is bad. What do you think about the death penalty. That is an extreme imposition of one's opinion on another (criminal or not).

No, the death penalty is not 'one' person's opinion, it is something which a society subscribes to, or does not.

Religious fundamentalism is not the root issue, in my opinion, it is the free and just world versus the rest. Certainly fanatical fundamentalism is frequently used by some as a tool or weapon, particularly to drive an uneducated population toward some desired enemy or goal...

Lets hope we can always define "free and just" well.
